I hit Florence on my last few weeks of the trip. It was absolutely beautiful, exactly the kind of romantic artistic place I thought it would be. The whole city which is very small had a very relaxed laid back feeling to it as if there was nothing in the world to ponder let alone worry about. I sketched in the warm sunshine overlooking the river, ate lots of gelato and had a delicious spagetti dinner and nice wine with a new roman friend named fabio! What could be better!
